Support of Group Risk function in implementing Solvency II standard formula. Development of business specifications to facilitate in-house implementation of counterparty default risk and market concentration risk. Specification of Solvency Capital Requirement calculation and corresponding regulatory reports for insurance group, subgroups and individual subsidiaries. Support of technical implementation and test activities.
 

Multi Project Management

Program lead for several client projects in a German fund company, including coordinating the various teams of business and IT in the aeras of regulations as well as client reporting and risk management. Our task included the responsibility in project governance processes, project planning and steering, as well as stakeholder management.

Development and management of the project for implementation of the amendments to the Anti-Money Laundering Act (AML) for a cantonal bank. Analysis of data and processes for validation of existing customers and verification of the identity of beneficial owners. Adaptation of directives, internal processes and development of training courses. In addition, analysis and adaptation of the application (Finnova) for risk customer assessment.

 

Implementation of Regulatory Requirements for MIFID II / PRIPPS

Project management and lead business analyst services in asset management of a major Swiss bank with implementation of regulatory requirements for MiFID II and PRIIPS. Responsible for IT specifications and implementation of a cost and risk calculation engine and a database to store regulatory data for asset management with diverse internal and external interface functions. Support of development and testing. Team management of 15 to 20 employees.

 

Support with Launch of ABACUS/DaVinci

Support of diverse clients of BearingPoint with the launch of reporting software ABACUS/DaVinci. Technical analysis of the business requirements. Support of further development of the SAMBA converter. Test coordination and testing.

 

Introduction of New Regulations regarding Capital Deductions for Holdings

syndeo AG supported a German regional bank in the introduction and implementation of the new regulations on equity deduction items from participations within the framework of the new regulatory provisions CRD IV / CRR. For this purpose, a technical concept was created with regard to the various equity components.
